08 ottobre Anniversary Weekend It was Matthew's birthday last Friday and also our first Wedding Anniversary on Saturday. I managed to get a half day off on Friday and spent some time with my Pig on his birthday. We haven't done anything special. We have met mum and Edward in Weatherspoon having some drinks. Afterward we went to lots of shops and tried to get a Nintendo Wii for his birthday gift. Unfortunately it's all sold out in all the shops. Matthew was very disappointed as he was so excited to get a Wii. Oh well, i have pre-ordered the Wii in Game Station. Hopefully we will get it soon. Anyway, we have been to a restaurant to have a meal afterwards.
The first anniversary was not very exciting as we know the first few years are always quite difficult, at least we have each other. Even though we have not done anything really special or been to some place really romantic, we have been to a nice Italian restaurant to celebrate the special day. It's our favorite restaurant in Huddersfield as they do really good food. We went there at 6:30pm and it was already busy as usual. Fortunately we didn't have to wait as we have booked a table already. We enjoyed our meal and then took a taxi to home, and watched a film. I think it was great and we enjoyed the special day ourselves.
